I assumed I knew about load orders, but there was a lot of info in that section that really helped me understand how vortex works.įor your specific problem, I don't have Legacy of the Dragonborn in my current build, but main files that have patch files, or even just updated. Vortex is different, but I think it's a better system once you get used to it.Ī big help is to read the section "About Load Orders" in the Knowledge Base.
I was so used to the NMM method, where a patch file would just overwrite files in the main mod. Took me awhile to get used to the way that Vortex updates/overwrites mod info.
